Terms of Service

These terms outline how Elliot Rose Therapy delivers services through this website. They complement the therapy agreement provided prior to commencing a programme.

1. Services

Services include consultations, CBT programmes, standalone sessions, supervision, and resources. All therapy sessions are delivered online via secure video. Services are provided by Elliot Rose, a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and Senior Lecturer in CBT.

2. Eligibility

You must be aged 18 or over. Services are not suitable for crisis situations or individuals requiring urgent or intensive psychiatric support. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or your local crisis team immediately.

3. Booking & payment

Consultations are confirmed once payment is received. Programme fees can be paid per session or in agreed instalments. Invoices are issued by email. Late payments may result in sessions being paused until the balance is settled.

4. Cancellation

Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, are charged in full.

5. Confidentiality

Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with professional standards and UK law. Information may be disclosed without consent if there is a risk of harm to you or others, or if required by law. See the therapy agreement for full details.

6. Technology

You are responsible for ensuring you have a private space, reliable internet connection, and up-to-date software for online sessions. If technology fails, we will attempt to reconnect or reschedule at the earliest opportunity.

7. Limitation of liability

While every effort is made to provide effective therapy, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Elliot Rose Therapy is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from therapy sessions or website use.

8. Website content

Information on this website is for guidance only and does not replace personalised therapy or medical advice. We may update content without notice.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms periodically. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
